Pro/ENGINEER: ISDX covers the design of organic
surfaces within the solid modeling environment. Through
the creation of freeform curves and surfaces, the user
is able to build stylistic features without having dimensional
restrictions. In addition these style features
can be parametrically linked to traditional Pro/ENGINEER
features, making the final design both robust and associative.
The first day of the course covers the introduction to
the ISDX environment and the creation of freeform curves
and surfaces. The second day focuses on the creation of
advanced geometry as well as incorporating style features
with traditional Pro/ENGINEER features and conceptual design
criteria. During both days you will be assigned a Project
Lab to apply the topics covered in the class.
