ASCENT- Center for Technical Knowledge® Releases Three Training Guides for the Autodesk® 2011 Vault® Product Suite

Framingham, MA

The Autodesk Vault 2011 Essentials training guide covers the same Vault tools as the ASCENT Vault 2011
Data Management for Inventor Users guide, yet also includes chapters on Vault for AutoCAD, Electrical, and
Mechanical. In addition, this training guide includes content on Vault Administration. This training guide is for
users that will be using Vault in a multi-software environment that includes Inventor, AutoCAD, Electrical, and
Mechanical. It is also suited for users that are responsible for administering the Vault database.

The Autodesk Vault Workgroup 2011 and Vault Collaboration 2011 training guide is intended for the users of
these two software products. It expands on the Autodesk Vault 2011 Essentials training guide to cover
working with document lifecycles and providing knowledge of advanced data organization. The guide is
intended for users and CAD administrators with basic Vault knowledge desiring to expand their skills to
accommodate additional engineering workflows and data organization. This training guide teaches how to
manage lifecycles, properties, categories, and revisions.

The Autodesk Vault 2011 Professional training guide is intended for users with knowledge of all basic Vault
and Vault document management features. The courseware focuses on the features of Autodesk Vault
Professional pertaining to BOM and ECO’s. Hands-on exercises are included to reinforce usage of Items,
BOMS, ECOs, and automated workflows. Content in this course builds upon Autodesk Vault 2011 Essentials
plus Autodesk Vault Workgroup 2011 & Vault Collaboration 2011 to expand the user’s knowledge of the
additional functionality in Vault Professional.
